Note for 2022: The World NBO Team trophy is a new event, and will certainly have medals and Open master points and Placing points will be awarded. It will be high level as it’s only for the teams eliminated from the main events, no others.

It will be 15 rounds of swiss then a KO of a QF, SF and Final/ play off

Regulations state: After the semi-finals, should a team decline to play-off for third place, they will automatically be placed in fourth place and receive one-third of the Master Points awarded for that position. Their opponent will be declared bronze medallist.
If both teams mutually agree not to play off for the third place, no bronze medal will be awarded in the competition, and each team will receive one third of the Master Points awarded to fourth place and no placement points

There is no transnational teams event this year.
